Inrotech has received an order from Tersan Shipyard, a diversified company with expertise in constructing LNG and battery-operated vessels, as well as various value-added niche new-built ships of various types and sizes.
The agreement between Tersan Shipyard and Inrotech includes an Inrotech-MicroTwin micropanel line for construction of passenger vessels, fishing, tankers and offshore vessels.
Tersan Shipyard is operating in two facilities which is located in Tuzla/Istanbul and Yalova. The shipyards main shipbuilding and repair activities are structured in Yalova premises in which an average of 5.000 of dedicated employees are working. The shipyard is motivated to expand in many divisions of the maritime sector and reach more clients by investing in its facilities, human resources, knowledge and new technologies.
The Inrotech-MicroTwin is seen as a strategic move as it will enable Tersan Shipyard to combine their expertise, know-how and customer portfolio with new welding technologies.

The investment will enable Tersan Shipyard to free up resources necessary for other types of investments, allowing the shipyard to take more projects or fulfill larger orders with shorter time frames.
Inrotech is now the preferred supplier of welding robotization for various shipyards in Turkey.Â
