Inrotech’s Offshore Welding Robot, e.g. for topsides

Main purpose

Designed for welding large structures that can be reached from work floor.

Mechanical design

Mobile solution with a robot unit on the tower of a pallet stacker with controller/welding machine.

Mobility

The robots can be inserted in various places in the production and is easily moved around on the pallet stacker. Once setup and started, the robot will automatically detect the welding task and complete this.

System design

The robot does not require any programming but is able to determine the welding tasks by means of Inrotech’s Logic System (ALPT) using the integrated Laser Sensor.

Welding targets

Large structures and constructions with large pipe on pipe welding’s. Our AMWT system, Adaptive Multipass Welding Technology, is handling even big variations in the welding groove.
